I am the owner of a Blackberry Curve and this particular type of phone is classified as: a smartphone. What is a smartphone? How are they different than other cell phones? These questions have always been in my mind because I never knew exactly what a smart phone was and all of the features it included. According to http://www.wikipedia.org/, a smartphone is a mobile phone that offers more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a contempory feature phone. So, what exactly does this mean? This means that smart phones are more like computers than just an ordinary cell phone. Smart phones have access to do a lot more than an ordinary phone. For example: most smart phones are touch screen where as in an ordinary phone when you send a text message you have to push the corresponding number to get the letter that is desired.
I found all of this information on http://www.wikipedia.org/. I first came up with the question which is: "What are Smart Phones, and how are they different from ordinary cellphones?" After this, I went to Google Search and typed in my question. From my results, the first link that came up was a website that just had the definition for what smart phone meant, but I needed to know more information than this, so I went to the second link which was: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphone. This link answered all of my questions and it gave me reliable information. I feel that this link was the best choice because I did not have to go to other websites and find the answers to my questions I got all my answers at one location.
