What Requirements does a student have to meet in order to be eligible to get accepted into the nursing program at Murray State University?

In order for a student who is interested in the field of nursing to get accepted into the nursing program at Murray State University, the student has to first complete requirments before they are eligible. These requirements consist of:
  1. Completed pre-requisite courses in italics listed below with a "C" or better.
  2. Be admitted to Murray State University with a major in Nursing.
  3. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and 30 credit hours.
  4. Required immunizations.
  5. Completion of the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).
  6. Admission is limited and selection is based upon GPA and TEAS score.
  7. All transfer credit must have been received and processed by MSU.
The reasoning behind myself asking this question is, I am a student that is interested in the nursing program and I myself was wondering what process I needed to complete to accomplish my goal. I went to the Murray State website which is http://www.murraystate.edu/ and I seen on the homepage that there was a tab titled, "Academics." After clicking on the Academics tab  I clicked on the tab titled, "All Majors and Programs." This page brought up every single major and program that Murray State has to offer. I scrolled down until I seen nursing, and went to the nursing page. On this page is where I found the answer to my question. The link I used is: http://www.murraystate.edu/Academics/CollegesDepartments/nursing/BSN.aspx. I feel that this link answered my question thoroughly and I did in fact get accurate information.
